I have been working on a 4 or 5 part road trip EarthCache. All points can be seen from your car with no stopping required. None of the viewing areas are on main highways or busy roads. Each area has a different landowner and asking individual permissions would be too lengthy. At each area you will have to note certain attributes for answering the questions required for logging. My question is (before i get to deep into this project)…..would something like this be approved by GC.com or would i need permission from the county to use their roads? I can just see a county supervisor rolling on the floor laughing when i ask for permission to drive on one of his roads. What is the rule for something like this? Any help will be appreciated.

I just had one approved a little while ago under the new approval process. All the waypoints were along the right of way or on the road in a rural area. I was not required to get permission for these.
