Gwyn, I think I know of the cache you speak. Sorry for taking the spot, but also am happy that your headache is gone. I’d still like to see a Wig over here, but since I don’t have the right device to make it work properly sometimes it’s also nice not to see one in my backyard. Double edged case here with positives and bummers if you decide to plod through with the Wig just to learn I can help you out by removing the cache.
No, it’s not a problem at all….more like a problem removed! It’s an interesting process and I enjoyed the research part of getting it ready, but trying to get that program to work with my Vista was a boatload of trouble for me. I was at a point where I had to try and load some kind of “patch” to override the problems and kept avoiding that step. We can hang on to your cache and get it Christmas Day now, when we “need” a cache for our calendar.
We don’t worry about things in our area that are out of our league (and there are about a half dozen of those for us). There’s always going to be something out there we either can’t or won’t do, and that’s okay by us. Someone else might love those things. As a good friend likes to say, you can’t shovel the ocean. 😉
I did host a Wherigo development event too this past year. It has been requested of me to do it again. Would anyone from Wisconsin actually travel to Grand Rapids for a day?
