There’s GCMTEJ.
Oh wait… that one’s archived.
In Wausau, the CCS series probably wouldn’t be safe in the Winter. GWRKK series might be doable, but not too winter friendly not to mention a LOT of hiking. Same for the Scooby Doo series.
Whorled: The Next Generation is nearly a drive by now.
Lake Wausau Island would be an easy walk.
Templar Treasure has been done in the winter.
THB just hiked to the Get Launched caches last weekend.
Little Bull Island – South is a hiking cache year-round.
Farther away…
Marco – Polo (GC1WE0R) is NOT accessable on foot right now. We were very surprised to see Green Lake almost ice free last week.
I’m pretty sure Nifty Fifty went away with the ice last spring…
The moon’s laying low in the sky (GC1TNN6) and The sun came up with no conclusion (GC1TNMH) are easy hikes right now.
Oasis (GC16W5J) is never winter safe.
Here’s one of mine. It’s brand new, and aptly named!
Island Micro (GC22K4K)
Also in the Area is “Lake Biron Mystery (GC22DTN). That one COULD be on an island. just sayin’.
Both are currently accessible on foot & by light vehicle.
Added some new ones to the list. Again my parameters is that it is a bona fide “island” cache and not just a “water” (i.e., shoreline inaccessible except by water cache). I have also not included finals to mystery caches so as not to give away location clues.
Here is some self-promotion. This cache happened to be placed over the weekend in Southeast WI. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=a7460e43-d073-4b9a-994c-418fbff5a765

RangerBoys “The Island” resurrected. I hope yours has better luck, RangerBoys went missing there a few times…
