I wanna see Timberline Echoes #’s. Bet you guys have like 25 in a 100 mile radius and the closest is now 105 miles away!! YOu 2 are REALLY way up nord!
03/28/2006 at 5:13 pm #1761346Way up north here in Superior I’ve got
867 unfiltered
788 filtered
a geoevent .2 miles away
and 18 puzzle type within 10 miles
I’m not a big fan of the puzzles.
I thought the cache density was lower up here.03/28/2006 at 6:14 pm #1761347Well, up here in the U.P. we have only 653 unfiltered and 574 filtered…of course we have a whole lot of water within a 100 miles of the Escanaba area, but a good portion of those caches are in Wisconsin. We had a great 3 day caching trip down in Green Bay last weekend when we went to the NCAA hockey tourney at the Resch Center.
Before we moved to the U.P. in January, we had 2,436 unfiltered and 2,134 when we filtered out finds and owned in the Mt. Pleasant area (the central lower peninsula of Mich)
03/28/2006 at 6:54 pm #1761348Unfiltered: 3403
Filtered: 2087Hm, guess I should get busy!
03/28/2006 at 6:55 pm #1761349For me, 4219 Unfiltered, 4010 filtered. Truly an amazing number! Many of these are in the Chicago area, but I also catch Racine, Kenosha, Milwaukee, West Bend, Rock County, Madison, Sheboygan, the lower Fox Cities (Oshkosh and Fond du Lac), and all points in between in my 100 mile net.
03/29/2006 at 1:42 am #1761350unfiltered 2387

04/03/2006 at 7:58 pm #1761357Hey sounds like we need help up here and around HoneyBunnys getting more caches planted. We are all so short on caches.

We have all 8 of those caches to do this summer and we have an extra canoe (or two) that fit(s) on our homemade boat trailer with the yaks. Just say the word and we’ll pick a day and paddle!
04/04/2006 at 2:16 am #1761359Sounds like a plan Forefeathers.
