Thanks to all who worked on the Janboree today … you did a great job and the weather was nice for meeting new cachers on the streets (and some interested non-cachers too). Also a big thanks to merchants of Waukesha for opening up their doors to us all and welcoming us in … slushy boots and all.
I have to second that! This Janboree was even better than last year! I have been introduced to many new stores that I look forward to going back to.
Though I haven’t personally hosted an event I know there is a lot of work that goes into getting things going, especially getting all these merchants on board! Thanks for all your time and effort to introduce geocaching to more people in the communities!

Sounded fun and I assume the 4 inches of snow either did not slow anyone down or melted off. Congrats to all of you who ventured out… I was stuck inside at work Yes actually WORKING!! LOL Maybe NEXT yr.

The weather was a cake walk compared to last year. It didn’t slow anyone down in the morning and it sort of melted off in the afternoon. I just feel bad for the merchants with carpeting … but they still welcomed us in, very nice people in those Waukesha shops, cool shops too!
Thanks to the Tapps and AuntieNae for all their work on this event. We had a great time (Julie said it was her best caching day ever) and ran into a few fellow cachers. Due my use of my $79 Yellow Garmin, I had 4 different people stop me on the street to ask about Geocaching. Maybe a few new recruits? TFTC!!!!!
The girl and I enjoyed pizza and cameraderie, then went on the historical tour which was very interesting. Cached until dark, then went home. Thanks for all the work you guys did!
