There is a cacher who I’ve been watching closely race along in my rear view mirror since the day he started this game with his first cache on 9/1/2009. I had the privilege to meet Jstajlr when he scored his first FTF only a day or two in and we’ve crossed paths on the trail many times for some good memories. For months, I’ve jokingly been “one step ahead” with numbers, but I always knew he’d pass me some day. Sure enough, on 11/11/2009 he finally made the move with his 500th – Toxic Toll Cache – and has left me in his dust with #534 to date!

(In case you were wondering, that’s a rate of over 7.5 caches a day in just over two months.)

Numbers like that deserve a pat on the back, but I wanted to officially congratulate him for making his first move towards giving back to the game, too. Today his first cache, WSQ Hamiston Cemetery, went live and it looks like a classic first placement.

Congrats Dave on both milestones. Now you’re really stuck in the game…which I’m very glad to see. 🙂

Congrats on #500! Didn’t know we got the FTF on your first hide. And a great WSQ to visit, too! Should get some exposure this weekend.

      Here’s to the next 500! 😀

Congrats on that torrid pace to the half a K and the first hide! May there be many more!

Congratulations on both milestones! There are hunters, there are hiders, and there are those that like to do both. I look forward to hunting your first hide in the near future.
