July August Lonely Cache List

OK, guys, time for a new list. For the first time in a long time, there are actually few enough caches that we can include all of the caches not found in the last four months. Jeremy will have the new list loaded to the website soon enough, but the bookmark list is located here. You will see that areas of concentration are:

• Appleton (Doesn’t anyone ever actually FIND the caches up there?)
• Eau Claire (Lots of HBZ caches)
• Hayward (Yes, unbelievably)
• and Wausau/Stevens Point

Prize for this month is a 2007 Wisconsin Geocoin donated by Jeremy.

For those who like my Google maps, here is the link to that. I haven’t included the cache rescue caches in the map or the bookmark lists, but they will be available for logging.

Ummmm……ok…..so I won’t say noting about those Hayward ones being less than 5 miles from my house. 😳 🙄 😕
I’ve been saving the them! I figured that was the only way to get a head of the other guys! 😉

No, but we sure know how to B&M about them! Sheesh, look at all the lonely caches in the new list that are MINE! My puzzles cannot be as hard as Marc’s yet he only has a couple loneliess this round and I have a ton.

Double points caches! I have had little if any luck communicating through the bookmark lists which caches are available to score double points. This time, I will try something different. Instead of marking the special caches in the bookmark list, here is a list of the 26 caches which provide double points to the first finder during the two month period.

Got my eyes on number 1 and possibly number 2. number 3 I just logged on the 30th, so you can pull that one off the list. number 4 is the closest but given the past DNFs…not so sure and number 5, well there’s a long story behind that one but boy would I love to get that sucker chalked up!

Does anyone know a way to sort the “list” by distance?

Build a pocket query of the list, load the PQ into GSAK and sort by distance. There is a button for building a query at the bottom of the bookmark page.
