Not to step on Deejay’s toes, but since there has been some activity on the June board already let me announce our contribution to the prize pile.
The previously-mentioned “WGA stamp” letterbox/hybrid cache has been given away to hopefully find a home in the wild soon.
However, we will be contributing another “cache in a box” letterbox/hybrid just like it (but with a different stamp) to award to the June winner, or another month as Deejay so decides, since it appears Sagasu has a coin to contribute to the next “new” winner also. (So I guess we’re not eligible? π )
Anyhoo, as before, you get the custom-camo-painted ammo can…the hand-carved stamp…the log book…whatever starter swag I happen to put in. And I’m also tossing in three “cache maintenance kits” as well as two field-ready matchstick micros. All mailed to you via USPS. Woo hoo!
On the Left Side of the Road...06/08/2009 at 7:45 pm #1909337Hmmmm…looking at the leaderboard, I must issue an amendment…
If seldom|seen wins the letterbox, he may NOT use the stamp for any of his existing letterboxes!!!

Letterbox? I don’t need no stinking letterbox!

Yes but you do need to carve a stamp for one. π π₯ π‘

On the Left Side of the Road...06/19/2009 at 11:55 pm #1909341Looks like someone is “hungry” for a letterbox! 8)

On the Left Side of the Road...06/30/2009 at 9:27 pm #1909344Oh, did I mention “Trekkin’ & Birdin’ ” told me about the LCG and how enjoyable it’d be to maybe see some of the less traveled roads and less visited caches?
Very cute, T & B…They were right though – enjoyable being the operative word…

06/30/2009 at 9:50 pm #1909345Now wait a minute, Bill….I had no idea what this month’s prize would be….though I’m glad to see it’s likely to be close to home.
I still have another of these to find close to home, too. Now there’s another LB hybrid to go that went out as a prize at the campout I keep watching for…..
As for the locations of these….ShiftMadCity was our first ever LCG find last year. What an out there place that is!
07/01/2009 at 12:39 am #1909346Well the game ain’t over ’till Deejay sez so, but unless sagasu is sittin’ on a whole bunch of points to snipe it looks like SB showed us all how it was done this month!
On the Left Side of the Road...07/01/2009 at 1:14 am #1909347Yeah, good thing T&B told us early in the month. I think it was on the 5th, when I had my last good meal ;o)
It’ll be an interesting cache placement I’m thinking… I’ll have to read up on it a bit, but I’m sure the family will be up to the task…
That is of course, if we manage to pull this thing off… Went and moved the #1 son’s summer campsite this evening instead of making another lonely cache run… But… I do have some points pending yet so… Fingers are crossed ! ! !07/01/2009 at 1:36 am #1909348@Snyder Bear wrote:
