    this is way to hard trying to load info gpx file using a mac and macaching I tryed to drag it to gpx file .
    also when I goto the map it shows all of the caches then I tap on one and they all go away.
    and when I goto the geocaching icon it will bring up the caches that are closest I hit one and goto the map and it only shows that one I would like to see them all or at least the closest ones any help is good but needs to be simple thanks

    ok I am starting over I am now going to use windows xp and gsak I want to down load 2 or 3 pq’s into gsak then to the nuvi500 then delete them out of the nuvi when/before I load a new pq anyone with the 500 been able to do this and can you tell me how in easy terms thanks

    Not sure on the nuvi 500 but on the nuvi 760 I use a nuvi macro and after that runs it automatically starts point of interest loader and that deletes the previous bunch of caches before loading the new ones.

    Raslas stated it pretty well…it pretty much runs itself once you’ve engaged the macro. Step by step directions will load for you to respond to 😀 Do you need any help loading GSAK…setting up the macro or POI loader?

    Well I found out that Maccaching doesn’t working very well on 10.6 Snow Leopard.

    A friend has the same problem…she’s got the Snow Leopard operating system and is stuck using Maccaching which isn’t a very good program. And you’re right about GSAK…and they have no plans to set up a Mac program either. In another thread, I found that there is a program that will allow Mac to run pc based programs You might want to look for it.
