Greetings fellow WGA Members:
It has been a great honor and privilege to serve as one of your Board members the past two years. I feel that we as a Association have moved forward quite a bit in the past two years, and there is always room for more forward progress.
My name is Justin Korpal, I am a resident of Green Bay. I am a Copier/Printer/Scanner network Technician. I am 28 years old and have been caching since April 29th of 2006.
Geocaching is one of the many outdoor activities that I enjoy. I also enjoy camping, backpacking, snowshoeing, and many other outdoor sports in general. I feel that Geocaching has really opened my eyes to many great areas in the state of Wisconsin. It is an excellent activity to be shared with family and friends.
Some of the many things that the WGA has done in the past Two years have helped to advance caching in the state of Wisconsin, such as Working closely with the DNR, Park and Recreation departments, and giving presentations.
I feel that in the past years we have spread out the Two main WGA Events (WGA Campout, and WGA Picnic) to other areas of the state rather than generally hosting them in one area. The WGA also has sponsored a few Regional events, and I would like to see this increase in the coming years.
If re-elected to serve as your board member, I will again work closely with the other board members to help make the WGA the best association that it can be.
I am always here to listen to concerns, and comments that you may have. I try to attend every event that I can, so please feel free to pull me aside, and bring your concerns to me, and I will make sure that they get back to the entire board, and get acted on.
The WGA is your Geocaching association. It is Run by, and for you.
