If there are no late submissions for December by him, we’ll be tied with Sagasu the Great for that month. 😀 And if we can just even not find a lonely cache soon, we’ll be the leaders for 2009 !!!

Three days into the new cycle, and no one has tried a lonely cache yet?

Sagasu Dave’s been revisiting all of them around here… we just call him “maintenance man”…

Plenty of new ones around here for me to think about hunting. Too bad it’s so cold. I’m allergic to snow and cold.

We happened to find one the other day in Weston. Solved puzzle from last summer. I think people are waiting for the okay to submit the reports, Jeremy had to change some things to reflect the rule changes, correct?

We figure this year, if we discover a cache is lonely upon logging, we’ll submit the report. But probably no intentional chasing, unless some just catch our attention.

The Jan/Feb lonely caches have been loaded, and everything should be good to go for submitting reports other than ones that involve Cache Rescue missions. The Cache Rescue piece should be completed this afternoon (I need to deliver a database change before it will work).

With the new rules I have had to pull back on my maintenance schedule, opening up some opportunities for cache owners and others. Chasing some local FTFs while I ponder trips of over 60 miles in this weather to log any finds on lonelys, though I will hit the board for the month just to help break the ice so to speak. Still need the replacement with owner permission option on the submit report page. Sandlanders, we’ll go for that tie in December!

That was my goof… I accidentally removed the 5 point replacement option when I got rid of the 2 point maintenance option.

Also, I think all the linkages are now in place to accept LCG reports for Cache Rescue mission completions. (MY fingers are crossed… :))
