Not a great cache, but a great park with LOTS of great caches! We had the good fortune to include this park in our caching travels on a recent trip home from visiting family in Minneapolis with an overnight in Hudson. The park isn’t too far south of Hudson (which also has lots of good caches), and it’s close to River Falls, too.

Fun hides (mostly by Spike007), lots of hiking trails, and all sorts of scenery. And that doesn’t even include the water activities on the Kinni and the St. Croix or the park beach front. Great picnic areas, too. Nice workout for the WGA cache… 😉 No camping, though… 🙁

While you’re in the area, you can head up Hwy 65/Cty A to Willow River State Park.

We did the puzzle cache at the overlook last summer and my son was thrilled with the view there!

I also agree with Noonan that Willow River sure is worth a visit as well.
