Kudos to our WI Reviewers

I know there was a thread quite a while ago thanking the reviewers, but I couldn’t find it. I’m starting a new one, because like milestone celebrations, these great people don’t get enough praise for the work they put in and it should be recognized.

In the last few months I was involved with a couple of cache related issues and in all cases the reviewers went above and beyond (IMHO) to resolve the issues. They’re expected to “police” the entire state, but unfortunately they don’t know the local areas like we do so we need to be their eyes and ears on the street.

Everyone probably knows they’re responsible for reviewing / publishing caches, but that’s obviously the easy part. They’re also responsible for trying to fix things when they don’t go as planned. This is the area I’ve seen great integrity from the reviewers and the reason I say “Thanks for all you do.”

I’ll drink to that. I recently became aware of a cache that violated DNR regulations. I notified the reviewer and it was dealt with swiftly. Thank you WisKid and Bec for your many hours of work to keep this game going.

I heartily agree – our WI Reviewers are top-notch! Knowledgeable and helpful and very responsive. I recall more than one occasion where there was less than 10 minutes between submitting a new cache for review and getting it approved. 😮
