Right now, this might not be the best place to plan a caching trip. All of the city trails in LaCrosse are closed, which includes Hixon Forest and Myrick Marsh. Goose Island and Vets Park county parks are closed. The state bike trails are closed. Lake Neshonoc and the boat landing on both shores are off limits. All of this is the result of the heavy rains and flooding this week. I know neighboring areas are also flooded and a mess, but the locations mentioned are all ones that have a lot of caches….or did, anyway. Just passing this along, though I’m thinking most who have heard any recent weather news already knew this. Enjoy this dry weekend!
