As geocaches go we all have our favorite cache types that we either like or dislike. Now is the time to make your opinion heard. So don’t be bashful, speak up. So what is your least favorite?? And why ?
03/11/2008 at 7:15 pm #1886066Abtaining from voting. Let’s see something more positive posted and stop the nonsense.
03/11/2008 at 8:14 pm #1886067I see no harm (and yes, even some good) in asking this question in a friendly manner without pointing fingers at any person or particular geocache. However, my least favorite type is not on your list. That would be a cache that requires “sleath” because of lots of muggles in the area.
03/11/2008 at 8:41 pm #1886068ha, ha…have to agree with Kbraband. Although, my husband does not like multi-caches. He thinks you should get credit for each cache you end up having to find. 😆
03/11/2008 at 8:55 pm #1886069I agree with the stealth ones, although creativity in trying to look nonchalent can be fun at times.
We’ll search any kind of cache, but rock hides under bridges are our least favorite. We’ll still hunt them, they just aren’t our favorites. Too easy to stand up too quickly when frustrated turning over rocks! 😯
03/11/2008 at 9:06 pm #1886070I don’t have a least favorite. LPHs in the middle of a parking lot are not my favorite, but I’ve found some. Caches that make me wonder why on earth did the hider want me to visit HERE? are not my favorite, but I’m sure they have their reasons. But I don’t avoid them or anything.

03/11/2008 at 9:19 pm #1886071I would have to say the ones that are not maintained. Missing, gone, owner notified and months later still the same.

Ditto. Or a DNF.
03/12/2008 at 1:00 am #1886073Traditional is not on the list? That is my least favorite. Especially the tiny traditionals on pine trees, I hate those suckers! (oh wait, I just put one of those out today)…
03/12/2008 at 1:01 am #1886074😯 Some puzzles, but only because I am too dumb to figure them out. THAT is why I am going to get some expert advice from Marc in his workshop! 😀

Don’t forget to go for a tour afterwards and get a few puzzles off your list…
03/12/2008 at 1:08 am #1886076Are you refering to “Pining for cache”?
Oh wait, there are like 400 of those in Northeast Wisconsin alone.. I just saw another one called this published the other day.
Being more serious, my least favorite are WSQ caches (though this is a varied grouping and some I have actually enjoyed) followed by Long multi’s that you get stuck in the middle. My third least favorite are camo easter egg caches.
03/12/2008 at 1:16 am #1886077My least favorite is the stealth caches also. I got caught putting a cache back by a young man and felt bad thinking it might come up missing because of me.
03/12/2008 at 2:29 am #1886078Would have to say temporary.

Let the flames begin
03/12/2008 at 2:05 pm #1886079Ooooooo, temporaries. Not going there! I like ’em all, will hunt ’em all. But……I will say after I spend a long time searching for a micro in a very stealthy location, I end up leaving angry and irritated more often than satisfied. But, you just never know before you start the hunt how it’s going to turn out, so I try to give every cache a chance.
