Wausau was closed last night by 10pm, we have 8+ easy, drifts in the driveway this morning as high as my 4 wheeler, was fun plowing through them 😈
Radio this morning said expect 2-4 inches, not sure if that is left over from last night or what.
12/09/2009 at 3:40 pm #1917869The craphas arrived, but they sent the white…and way more than was ordered! Can I return the craphas if I don’t want it?
12/09/2009 at 3:47 pm #1917870You can return it upwind, from whence it came! 😉
12/09/2009 at 3:54 pm #1917871Ours is a good 15 inches deep here. Still coming down, blowing has begun.
They even closed Volk Field. the guard airbase by Camp Douglas. For regular stuff, Trekkin’ likes to joke that back home, they’d take a broom to this stuff, but for this kind of snowfall……yup, the blower is going. We have a corner lot, so lots of sidewalk to clear.
12/09/2009 at 3:59 pm #1917872You got more down there that the Ironwood I think. They were predicting 10-12 for the U.P. That good ol’ lake effect kicking in.
12/09/2009 at 4:20 pm #1917873With the snow finally here what more is there to say tham Merry Craphas to everyone.
12/09/2009 at 4:23 pm #1917874And a Merry Craphas to you, too, Mister Greenthumb! 😆
12/09/2009 at 4:29 pm #1917875We lucked out here in Kenosha, at least the part right next to the lake where I live. When I came home from school last night the roads were pretty bad, and it was coming down pretty hard. I went to bed around 11:00 and there was about an inch and a half to two inches on all the surfaces, but the temperature was 43°. I woke up this morning to green grass, and no snow at all. Nothing! Everything was wet and looked like it had just rained all night.
12/09/2009 at 4:30 pm #191787616 inches of craphas in Wautoma. Unfortunately we were sent the high density craphas, which is extremely taxing on the snowblower and the shovel operator!

An I live in Waterford, one county up and over on the far west of Racine caounty, we have atleast eight with it still coming down. The’re plowing our condos for the second time!
12/09/2009 at 4:43 pm #19178786-8 inches of craphas in Manitowoc. And the craphas is still coming down
pretty hard. 😀 😆 😛12/09/2009 at 4:45 pm #1917879I just got in from snowblowing our driveway, over 2 hours, its the drifting up here on the ridge thats a killer. I can see the grass on one side of the house and there are 6 foot drifts on the other side. I would say we got a good foot up here in cacheton but its so hard to say with the wind.
12/09/2009 at 4:49 pm #1917880Over a foot of craphas in Oconomowoc…and falling.
12/09/2009 at 4:57 pm #1917881Trekkin’s still out with the blower and the craphas. It’s still falling, but not the high density stuff.
What pains me is the fact that the windchills will drop to danger levels once we’re done. As long as it’s here, I’m anxious to break out the snowshoes and x-c skis. I guess our son had the baby being pulled around the back yard yesterday in a sled….by the dog! I cannot believe they didn’t take any pictures! We have to dig out the cool kiddie sled my parents gave us when our boys were little…the LL Bean one. Perfect to hook up to the dog!
12/09/2009 at 5:30 pm #1917882There is craphas right up to my frizz!
