Let’s pitch the snowshoes!!

Alrighty, If good old Mom Nature wants to melt the snow fine!! Let’s find a river or something to paddle the kayaks down… They look gorgeous around here with the snow still clinging to the sides!!

Thinking the same thing…. I hate to plunk down $$$$ for a drysuit, but it sure is looking tempting.

I went out with my snowshoes today to get readings for a cache we are getting ready to put out. There was enough snow, but I was along a local river, thinking the same thoughts about my kayak. This little touch of warm weather is really whetting my paddling appetite! I usually don’t start getting the itch too bad until Canoecopia in March. Any other paddling cachers going?

We’ll be at Canoecopia Friday evening & all day Saturday. I know of at lest 3 others who will be there also. Maybe we should try to set up a Paddlin’ Cachers meeting. Suggestions?
