What is it? Is it just a tag you put on cemetery caches or is the Wisconsin Spirit Quest an organization? If I want to hide a WSQ cache do I need approval from someone? What is it’s website? What is it’s origins and the meaning of the name?
08/19/2009 at 8:32 pm #1912577All you need to do is tag it….there is no one to ask and no need to report to anyone. It’s simply a designation to tell folks that the cache is in a cemetery. You might want to let Mark 5 digits know though as he holds several bookmarks to organize the listings.
EDIT….let me rephrase…you still should get permission prior to placing any geocache so caches placed in a cemetery are of course no exception, but you don’t need any permission for using “FOG or “WSQ” designations.
08/19/2009 at 9:02 pm #1912578Thou some are marked as FOG also.
08/19/2009 at 10:03 pm #1912579What’s FOG mean?

On the Left Side of the Road...08/20/2009 at 2:52 am #1912583Thanks! After reading up on it I decided to add the WSQ tag to my two cemetery hides. It seems like a good way to ensure people are respectful of the site.

That, I’m afraid, is entirely dependent on the cacher or team. Some still treat cemeteries like playgrounds. But the designation can’t hurt.
