For some reason, the links to the caches pages for geocaches are not working. The format of the http stuff has changed, and now locations that require the format to be something like http://www.geocaching.com/ seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=… don’t allow any link with the addresses that GC uses at the top of the caches pages now.
I first noticed this a while ago when I tried to link the cache page in the WGA milestones module, which didn’t really matter much (the link to the individual log still works), but now I am trying to highlight a cache within a cache page I am writing up, and the text looks fine on the cache page, but the link doesn’t work.
Is there some other place to find a “linkable” web address for a cache that will work? Has anyone else been noticing this for at least a few months now?
