The Curly Girls are on The March through The South. In a few days they have marched into Florida, Alabama and Mississippi with Number 800 in their sights! You go Lisa! 😀 We are watching your progress.

04/23/2008 at 5:41 pm #1888212Here’s hoping Lisa survives the hot sun on her southern swing across several states and notches that 800 soon. Last I heard the count was at about 777 and climbing. Good luck on the milestone, and stay out of those Louisiana bayous so you can make it safely back to Wisconsin!

Boom, there goes the State of Georgia and at last count number 786.
Lisa, had her security guardalong for her find at GCHD4X while outside the razor-wire. Keep in mind she is a Lioness! 😆 (club member) 😆04/24/2008 at 12:30 pm #1888215WE echo all the congrats and add ours.
TE04/24/2008 at 4:48 pm #1888216Thank you to everyone out there watching our progress and sending their well wishes! We have put over a thousand miles on our rental car just so I could visit a few other states while based out of Pensacola for the week. Our trip is coming to a quick close as we leave tomorrow morning.
We both have lots of cuts, scrapes, bruises and bug bites, but it was all well worth it! We did a bunch of historical caches and visited some neat old cemeteries. My favorites so far are the Broke Spoke in Kiln, MS (Packer biker bar); the Fountain of Youth earthcache (I am not sure you will recognize the younger me); and the Stokes Graveyard.
I would love to make it to my 800 while down here yet, but my fisherman is tired and I am not allowed out without my security guard (I sure needed one yesterday at Big Falls!). Will have to see what it is going to cost me to get out for 14 more before we leave in the morning.
04/24/2008 at 5:37 pm #1888217Good luck on the way to 800. I know how you feel, I’m sitting on 797 right now. I’m waiting for my birthday this weekend to find #800. This is the first milestone that really feels significant to me. Maybe it’s because 1000 is now close by. Have a great rest of your trip.
