I’m proud to announce that one of our local geocachers has won the June Jeep photo contest.
Mary, aka: Cekcacher, wasn’t expecting the mysterious package from UPS. Upon opening the package, she found a Garmin Etrex Legend C and learned that she had won the June Jeep Photo contest.
Here is the winning photo:
Mary has been shopping around for a new GPS and watching the units on Ebay. The Legend is much nicer then those she considered buying. Sounds like it couldn’t have come at a better time. As luck would have it, the package was on her doorstep when she returned from finding her 200th Geocache. Now that’s a milestone that will be remembered!
A big congrats to Mary! I’m proud to see one of our locals take top honors

I think a Magellan…w/ an “a” instead of an “i”…user would never spell Garmin incorrectly.
I also think it’s very cool that a local cacher won!
