I went looking for one yesterday and was surprised at how few places seem to carry these now. It looks as if the new wave is the gladware, which is fine for food but doesn’t hold up well as a cache, or the glass containers. Ditto.

I found one, but not quite what I’d hoped to find. Where are people getting these things these days? I checked ShopKo, Walmart and finally found the size closest to what I wanted at Woodmans.

Dollar Tree if there is one in your area. Mine has lots of lock and lock containers.

I got a bunch of them from Amazon.com, you can get any size you want.

Thanks Todd….we have several different “dollar” stores here, not sure of the actual names. Time to find out!

This is an aside, but when I was in Wales several years back, I spotted a store called “Everything’s a Quid.” Otherwise, looked just like the dollar stores here and I had to take a picture!

I get them at Fleet Farm or Walmart. I buy sets of assorted sizes. They are cheaper that way.

Kitchen Collection in the mall used to carry them by various sizes. These were the real ones, haven’t been in there lately so not sure if they have them yet.

Make sure they say freezer proof. Some are not.
