The Lonely Cache Game winner for January is Sagasu! During the month, he revisited/maintained 31 caches, found 6 lonely caches, DNFed 11 caches, and moved a couple Travel bugs. Dave and company win a City of Greenfield Parks Department Geocoin, which I will forward to him as soon as he stops caching long enough to give me his address.

The February contest is ready to start, using the same list as last month. If there were some caches on there you wanted to claim, but didn’t have time, now is the time to go for it. Dust off those snowshoes and head out into the winter wonderland!

On a related note, I received an “anonymous” donation for LCG prizes, so I will use that to obtain more geocoiins. The prize for February is a set of 4 travel bug dog tags.

I want to thank you and your anonymous benefactor as this is a great way to get people out and finding a few of these “Lost” caches. I have had one of mine hit a couple of times no doubt directly because of your efforts.
    Cheers.

I’m guessing Dave is going to be out of action, since there will not be many close caches to do for February.

So, who is going to led this month…..?

Congratulations Dave on the win….Wow!!! Your score was amazing, and there is no way I could keep up unless I devoted every cachin day to the game. Wow, what a score.

    Colored me impressed.

I wouldn’t count him out but maybe the race will be a bit closer in the new month.

Congratulations Dave! We thought we could maybe at least trail behind, but we were left eating your dust. We had fun looking for the ones we found, though, got us to some great spots away from the madding crowds.
