Due to the fact that Jeremy and I were getting a lot of questions, I have added a section to the rules regarding “multiple finds.” Here is the new section:
12. Rule Clarifications
a. There is no limit to the number of people who can earn points by finding caches for the first time. There is no limit to the number of people who can earn points by DNFing a cache they haven’t previously found.
b. A cache can only be “DNFed” while active. If the owner or reviewers disable or archive the cache, it is out of play.
c. A cache can only be confirmed present or confirmed missing once during the two month list period, unless there is a subsequent DNF. If the cache is visited by two cachers at the same time, they will both get the credit.
d. A cache cannot be confirmed (either way) after an owner maintenance visit log is posted during the 2 month period, unless there is subsequent DNF.I also changed the DNF scoring to no longer require the cache to be replaced, archived, etc. for the points to count. Since we are doing monthly winners, that particular rule is not practical. Now, you can score a few points if you DNF a cache, as long as you at least get to ground zero. In other words, “I thought I could find your cache by going out on my back porch and looking real hard in your direction, even though it is 250 miles away, but I just couldn’t find it.” doesn’t count.
Both changes are NOT retroactive and ARE effective immediately.

There is no need to forward waypoint information on any of the other caches. Those caches are:
Eagle Lake – west of Racine
Goosey Larry – Sun Prairie
Horicon Marsh Parkway – Horicon
Three-Legged Dog Cache – Eau ClaireThe waypoints for these caches were lost from the reviewer database at some point and need to be restored. You will note that these are some of the oldest caches on the list.
