And the winner for April is….A Tie! (No, not THAT Tie!) After a hard fought competition, labrat_wr and Seldom|Seen managed to end up in a tie. I struggled for a while as to how to handle this, then I was reminded of a bible story from my childhood and the answer came to me! I could cut the geocoin in half!! Now, I just have to line it up so that the code is cut in half….. Just kidding!
So, here is what I will do. For this month, whoever gets back to me with their address first gets to choose between a 2005 WGA coin (donated by Jeremy) and a special “surprise” geocoin that I just happened to come across (donated by me). Whoever is slower gets what is left.
Now, isn’t that better than cutting the coin in half?

I think I see where you’re going and I like it!
05/06/2008 at 12:52 pm #1888877Congrats to S/S an labrat on their victory! Way to go guys.

05/06/2008 at 1:43 pm #1888878Congrats to both of you! Keep us updated on the winner, hey?
Did anyone else notice how barren that area around Green Bay/Appleton looks on the new Lonely Cache map? Gret work, guys!
05/06/2008 at 10:58 pm #1888879Appleton being so cache dense, the LCC should offer bonus points based on the distance from zip code 54911.
I’m kidding folks.
05/07/2008 at 3:48 pm #1888880Geez, 2 days go by and I don’t check the forums and this is what I get. Guess I’ll take the leftovers…. 🙂
05/08/2008 at 6:41 pm #1888881With that new ‘do you’re sporting, your lucky to get leftovers! Just kidding, it’s really a cool earthy look. I don’t think bro-in-law has sent his address in yet, matter-of-fact I know he already had two 2007 WGA coins and recently acquired a third as an FTF prize, so maybe he will go for the mystery coin, being so flush with recent WGA ones…
Congrats to both of you for the tie for April, and the good sportsmanship, Alex!
05/08/2008 at 6:45 pm #1888882Congrats to both of you two! I am glad I bowed out during April as I would not have kept pace with you guys.
If you need someone to take that WI coin off your hands you can always give it to me. It’s a fine coin (Geo or otherwise!) and I never bought one but when I finally got to see one in person at my CITO.

Oh, yes I did, yes I do (the FTF coin goes to Rsplash), and yes I did.
S|S I will let you know what the ??? coin is when I get it and we can see where we go from there.
