❓ I was just wondering…. are the people who are not responding to e-mails and such about their disabled caches placing new ones without taking care of the ones they already have? Would it be fair to say these people should not be allowed to place, or at least have a new cache approved, until they fix the ones they are ignoring?

I don’t want to start a war here. I don’t even know if these people are indeed placing new caches. I was just wondering.

Most cachers that did not respond haven’t logged into the site in quite a while. It was not the case that they were still active cachers placing more caches.

    That’s good to hear.

A huge thank you for the efforts with this! It is good to see that some of the disabled caches are finally getting cleaned up or removed. Great job Tie!

Ditto from me, and I’m also glad to hear that you’ve gotten zero flak over it as well! 🙂

I’d like to thank you, as well as Cheese-Wis for cleaning up a couple of local caches. Thank you!

I had contacted both owners of the caches several times, I believe I even offered to adopt one. Both said they would be out very soon to repair or replace thier caches, but neither did after as much as 9 months! Now both caches are archived and the areas are open to place new ones.

BTW both spots are prime cache spots. One in particualr I’m planning on snatching after the WGA this weekend.
