Hi,
I was 2/3 of the way through solving this cache in Wauwatosa.
GC1DR8C
Looks like the owners are inactive, and the text files from the listing are now gone, even though the cache is apparently just fine. If anyone has the text or a printout they could share, I’d be grateful. I had decrytped all the local hints and made my grid, but I know there was more information (like what that kind of cipher is called) that is now gone.
Thanks!
12/23/2009 at 11:09 pm #1918667In the famous words of Emily Letila…..”never mind.”
I discovered that the text is still available if you just click the “account inactive” links. If anyone else wanted to try this one…..
12/23/2009 at 11:11 pm #1918668Just click on the 3 photobucket “inactive photo” links. The files are still on the server on Photobucket. It is just inactive from hotlinking, that’s all.
Hope I make sense.
N/m..you got it.
12/24/2009 at 5:04 pm #1918669Well, as of this morning, clicking those links is no longer helpful. If anyone has the part with the final piece of the puzzle….a bunch of letters that look random….I’d be beholden to you.
We don’t have a working printer or this would not be a problem. I can’t seem to find it on my hard drive, so must not have saved. Sad me!

I hope it can be fixed on the cache listing, as it’s been a fun one to work through, and it sounds like the cache itself is just fine. Maybe someone local can take it over for the absent owner?
12/24/2009 at 7:59 pm #1918673I can still get the links to work on my Mac.
12/24/2009 at 8:20 pm #1918674How weird is that? I just tried on my laptop, and neither one will bring up anything except the “inactive” thingie.
12/24/2009 at 8:38 pm #1918675Over at the left there are four addresses/codes. I just copied and pasted the http one that says Direct Link, and it brings up the page image.
12/24/2009 at 8:52 pm #1918676I get the inactive also, but I just clicked on it and the link took me to photobucket.

12/24/2009 at 9:18 pm #1918678OH! and Pat we’re not spous to talk about arrows either for some reason. 😉
12/24/2009 at 9:23 pm #1918679Gwyn only asks for teeny tiny hints, never the whole shebang.
12/24/2009 at 9:39 pm #1918680I haven’t spent enough time with those arrows to begin to ask for teeny tiny hints. I don’t like to ask for teeny tiny hints until I hit a wall after too much time spent trying things and hitting a wall.
Which following arrows like that…..well, it could happen! They both look kind of like track logs at ground zero, LOL.
