A couple months ago I started this Wiki page (Geocaching Presentation Resources) at the request of some Board members. The objective of this page is to collect up the geocaching presentation materials developed by WGA members, so those giving presentations in the future don’t have to reinvent the wheel and have examples of what worked in the past. At some point, the WGA may develop an approved, standardized introduction to geocaching presentation/class… but until then, having this member provided information available should be a big help to those who are going to introduce the sport to others.

If you look at the Wiki page, you will see that right now we are kind of light on presentation materials. I know many more WGA members have given geocaching presentations… if you have materials you’d like to share, just email or PM them to me and I’ll get them published. Also, if you are aware of useful information for developing geocaching presentations found on other websites, you can edit the Wiki page to include them or mention them in this thread.

I have looked at a couple of the presentations posted elsewhere here, and have a suggestion for future presentations… Please dont overlay graphics onto the text using animations, it makes it really hard to print those pages for any other usage (such as handouts) because you can’t view the text or pictures underneath. Please just add another slide instead.
