My wife and I are trying to find a inexpensive place to stay up in the superior area. We looked at campsite as we have a pop up camper but there is nothing available. We are looking to be in the area sept 11th through the 13-14th. looked at hotels there and they are a little pricey. if anyone knows of a place inexpensive let me know. thanks in advance Scrappy Scout
Two state parks are not far from Superior if you want to do your camping there. Amnicon Falls (east) is on a first-come basis, and Pattison SP (south) still has sites available to reserve for those dates.
We need electric sites and both are full we already checked that is why I am asking LOL
Stockade Motel 1616 E 2nd St. in Superior, right on Hwy. 2 near Barker Island. Inexpensive with no frills. No pool, no breakfast…just a place to sleep and clean up. Haven’t been there recently but give them a call. (715)398-3585
I agree Kevin on the hotel prices. We were up that way lat month and could not find a room for under $100 a night.

When we were there in July we stayed at the Ashland Motel. Nothing fancy just a place to sleep. It was $67/night after taxes. 2300 Lake Shore Dr W,
Ashland, WI 54806 (715) 682-5503
We ended up getting the Handicapped site at pattison state park. Now the question is there any recomended caches we should get while we are there. let me know. please
State Park caches at Pattison and Amnicon have to be done

GC5EAB Joint on the Point. You need to approach it from the Duluth side. Nice family cache!
