Looking for exchange sources for waypoint data

I’m relatively new to GPS. Looking for web sites where I can download/upload GPS data, especially for unusual things: location of Indian Mounds, Championship Trees, unusual bird sightings etc. Any advice or information is appreciated. You can email me direct. Thanks!

Try http://www.waypoint.org This is a website dedicated to builing a global registry of interesting spots.

It’s also a good spot to log interesting locations that didn’t meet the strict criteria for Virtual Caches.
