On March 8, the Tri-State Forestry Stewardship Conference will be held at Sinsinawa in the far southwest corner of the state.
Last year they started a youth component, this year they expect around 25 4-6th graders. They asked me (since they know I geocache) if I would help them set up a geocaching program for the kids. (in the afternoon) I will have between 1.5 and 2 hours.
I was wondering if any of the WGA members might want to help design the course and work with the kids? Or can you suggest anyone from the Platteville area that might be willing to help. This might be a great thing for a scout group or older youth group who are into geocaching to both help set up and teach.
You can find out more about the conference at: http://basineducation.uwex.edu/gpsp/tsfsc-index.htm
Thanks for your help, Suzanne (4 Earth), UWEX Rock River Basin Educator for Natural Resources
