Hailing all geocachers that have cached at Pike Lake State Park, I have been recruited to put on geo 101 classes this coming June, July, and August for the State park. What I was wondering, do any of my fellow cachers have stories that they would be willing to write about, pertaining to caching in the Pike Lake Park. My idea is to make a hand out that people can get when they come to the park that has different stories telling people about there trips to the park, and what they saw and heard. Basically your experiences with geocaching and their time at the park. If interested please send me your stories [email protected] and I will add them to the pamphlet. Or if you would like to help out shoot me an email and I can fill you in on all the details and ideas I have for this adventure. Thanks in advance Scrappy Scout
There should also be a few stories in the cache logs of the various caches placed there. By actually reading a GOOD log (not TFTC), the new hobbyists might catch on to what kind of log is appreciated by cache owners. It would be a great opportunity to educate! 🙂
Thats what I was thinking too When I make a list of all the caches in the park I was going to add at least one good log to show what people should write in them.
