Ummm . . . is there any way to get back a cache page that I was working on that got most of it accidentally deleted? Like, as in, I clicked to submit the edited changes, but most of the long description page (in html with photos, lists, etc.) is now gone except for the edited stuff I had just added. 😳 😳 😥

OK, I’ve recreated a lot of the cache page, except for the time-consuming stuff, but feel free to reply for my next “DOH” time. And, please, someone else reply, “Been there; done that”. 😳 😉

OK…been there done that. Being anal-compulsive and constantly updating and rewriting stuff with many pages open at once…..hey it happens.

Nice to know I’m not alone. Thanks, LB7!
(or were you just saying that to be nice???)

…nope. I’m not perfect (no matter how much I claim that I am).

Well, over two hours later, I’m back to where I was, plus a bit farther along (plus a bit more careful, too.)

That’s why you should use notepad and save regularly. Then copy and paste to the cache submit form to see if it works.

Agreed, on the ones where I get more wordy or want to use html I actually use a old copy of netscape navigator that has a really basic html editor built in then I cut/paste the html code over.

I usually write up the cache pages in a normal text document, then cut and paste and apply the html. Of course, I didn’t do that in this case 😳 , but I never thought to write up the html in the text, too. Might have to try that. Keeps me learning the html, though. Just wish more people would take the time to read through the whole cache pages to take in all the information on them.
