I stayed at group site D. I seem to have lost (or forgotten) a red handled retractable dog leash and a toilet seat TB. If anyone has seen either of these items, please leave a note. Thanks.

I believe PharmGirl found the toilet seat TB under her rain fly. She, Jeremy and I were the last tents at D so things were pretty cleared out when I broke camp, but I did not see a dog leash.

I did find two camp chairs – one with bag, one without – and one camo camp stool (as well as two disposable lighters, a cheap mechanical pencil, a pen, and some other miscellaneous things I classified as garbage). Grousetales has the chairs and stool since we assumed that it was more likely their owners were nearer to Milwaukee than Colfax.

I found on the trail following the night caches:

One blue and black light, batteries mostly dead.

One the ground at group site D:

    One Team LightningBugs geocoin
    One VW Bug TB

    Anyone want to claim?

The two folding chairs apparently belong to Zuma. I don’t know about the folding camp stool.

The chairs and stool are zuma’s, a bit closer to Colfax than Milwaukee…..but I am sure I will be down there eventually.

Unfortunately, I got quite ill Saturday about 2/3 of the way into the Artful Dodger, and we had to motel it Saturday night because I had a fever and had to seek medical attention Sunday morning. After 2 days of antibiotics I am back to 1/2 strength, and hope to be better in a day or so.

I believe I saw the red handled dog leash sitting on a picnic table Saturday night. It definitely was not there later on Sunday when I packed up after picking up the temp caches. Maybe another group D camper picked it up?

ThePharmGirl does have the travel bug.

Oh riiiiiiight, like I’m supposed to believe that…. You accidentally “lost” a large toilet seat under my tent…. sounds fishy to me… like a load of … never mind. 😆

I was wondering how I was going to pawn that off on somebody. I was going to try to sneak it into somebody’s car at the Burlington challenge this Saturday. Otherwise I might not be at another event until the big West Bend event in August. So if you’d like it back, be my guest. I’m actually heading to Madison this Sunday for the Marathon and I’ll be staying until Monday.

On another note…. Zuma, I’m glad you’re starting to feel better! I was a little worried about you out on those trails.

    Zuma,

Sorry we didn’t learn the chairs were your’s until I made it home to Milwaukee area.

Perhaps we can make them into travel bugs. Their missing will be to make it back to your house 😀 .

I hope you are on a short road to recovery. Get well soon !

😳 Now I’m really embarassed. I’m the one who lost the TeamLightningBugs geocoin that I had grabbed from TwoWordly. I was feeling really guilty last night when I was going through my bag and couldn’t find it. I’m glad it’s safe and accounted for. I never did jot down the tracking number.

I’m sorry, Ralph. I didn’t know about your hasty departure until I returned home and saw a comment from Robin about it. I’m glad you are doing much better and I’m also glad you stayed in a nice warm hotel on Saturday night.
