Congratulations to the LostBoys5 team for reaching Find #1000 yesterday. After going for the oldie “Slough Gundy” (GC18E2) and only getting wet and wetter, they opted for the “newer” but still classic “Little Falls” (GCG5W9) to reach the milestone. Sounds like the Lil Otter had the same experiences with the Slough when she placed her waterfall cache!
Looking forward to those photos, guys!
Thanks! It was a great day! Making memories for the kids of mom (me) attempting to cross the rocks and not get swept away.
Congrats on 1K! I was looking for your 1K log from “Lost Falls”! Guess I know why I didn’t find it! 🙂
Congrats! I was just checking out Slough Gundy the other day, it looks fun, to bad that didn’t work out.
this is turning into oKtober with so many 1K milestones

Congrats on 1K. And sorry about Slough Gundy, as I would have to assume that the water is low this time of year, but I guess I was wrong about that. It took me two tries to get Slough Gundy as well, as the first time the water was too high. But when I went in low water, I was able to walk right to it with dry feet. It is really a great cache and hope you try again. Good choice for a back up plan though, and congrats on the milestone.

I posted a few pics on each cache page. The pictures make it look like I should have made it all the way. Darn short legs.
Always like the photos. Thanks for sharing, Kristi!
And it’s not your short legs, it’s the wide water.
