This Saturday (4/27) is the annual Outdoor Gear Swap Meet at REI in Madison. See the links below for details on how to get there.
The swap meet runs from 10AM till 1PM, and it is free for everyone. If you want space to sell/swap goods, you must call them first to reserve your free space at 1-608-833-6680.
Note that guns, bows, fishing tackle, and motorized items are not allowed to be sold. Also, no commercial vendors are allowed to sell.
BTW, while your at REI in Madison, did you know that just around the corner from them is both a Gander Mountain AND an Erehwon?
As much as we like REI and are co-op members, we actually like Erehwon for camping and hiking supplies better. The madison store is a two story building, with just about everything you could be looking for.
Madison’s West Town area is a camper/hiker/geocachers dream!
