Co-conspirators to make the world a better place…07/05/2004 at 3:45 pm #1737472I joined the first hunt that they had. It is tough to get the big prizes because it depend on two things, luck and hard work to get the announcement where the final is and win the foot race to the cache.
I took my time finding one SW of Chicago. It was pretty easy to find yet there were still several prize coupons left for free Magellan baseball caps.
All in all, it was a fun variation from the norm.
07/05/2004 at 6:30 pm #1737473I would love to be able to participate more; however the location of the caches are usually near major metropolitan areas. Manitowoc, WI doesn’t really fit that pattern. Heck, I’d be surprised if Milwaukee got one. However Minneapolis did!
btw, Two more case files are out. Looks like Seattle and San Fran…

08/25/2004 at 6:40 pm #1737478Mission 30 appears to be in Milwaukee.
08/26/2004 at 4:09 pm #1737479If I’m understanding how this all works, today should be clue #4, Friday will be Clue #5, and then on Sat, the Co-ordinates will be released. The race is on!
08/26/2004 at 8:12 pm #1737480As of today, it is NOT in any of the City of Greenfield Parks .. our Parks staff has been working on projects everywhere so they would have spotted it by now.
08/27/2004 at 4:50 pm #1737481The newest clue makes me think of the summerfest grounds where they have all of the bridges. The 7th bridge may be refering to the 7th street exit. That area is also near to the breweries…
Man, I wish I was closer to Milwaukee than being stuck here in Madison 😛
Good luck!

Otherwise a spy’s favorite hang out would be The Safe House
That’s in the area I discribed in my last post too I believe….
08/28/2004 at 2:25 pm #1737483FTF this today in the rain. Had a little help from home. Check out the website later for the story. Don’t have time to do it now. I made my wife late for work and my son late for his football scrimage.

What a great series.
And of course I did the dance.
Uncle_Fun08/28/2004 at 4:24 pm #1737484I had not even looked at the website until Thurs night. This morning, the coords were posted.
After hunting for a while, I took a hint from a passerby on the trail which pointed me back to the spot I already checked. DOH! A few feet from where I already checked. I was the 5th finder at about 10a.m.
Great to see all the WGA members making their mark on this great event!
