This cache will qualify for the Maker Madness Souvenir.
Start time will be 10:00a.m. at Chippewa Valley Electric. They have given me permission to use the building.
This event could be great for younger cachers too.
I am looking at possibly getting into the Cornell High School depending on the size of this event. Cornell High School is 1000 feet north of the coordinates listed, otherwise right across the street. Any changes in venue will be posted.
This event is for geocache hiders, people planning on making a geocache, people who want to heckle my geocaches, anyone who wants to just socialize, and people who want to bring food. If you can bring in materials and containers used for display and sharing ideas.
Bring in any of the different type of containers used. There are many kinds of camouflage like tape you can bring in BUT DO NOT BRING SPRAY PAINT ; instead you can bring in containers you have already sprayed. Many of the different size, shape and strength of magnets used. Materials like wire and hooks used to hang or hold containers.
Team Northwoods will bring all of these things and most of it fits in a shoebox.
Let’s get it displayed and talk or show little tricks we have used to make containers and what we have done that has not worked.
If you do not want to share your container ideas feel free to “Weasel” (the Wild Wisconsin kind) your way around and socialize.
I want us to work together with the different materials and maybe put some containers together or if someone needs help trying to remedy a cache style, make new kinds of caches, look for suggestions on what cache you should use in that perfect location you already have picked out, or maybe get leads on new ideas. There will never be a better time to do it.
Food wise. We should have a pot luck type setup and maybe if we want to all put a couple bills together get a party sub but like most events if we all bring a little there will be lots to go around.
Bring your own drink but if you want to bring drinks to share that is always appreciated.
There are many caches in the area and when we decide the cache making event is at its end a caching we can go or head our separate ways.
