› Forums › Geocaching in Wisconsin › General › Mapping a Route? This Site can do it
I am stuck on dialup until tomorrow, so I havent been able to fully experiment with this site, on all 3 browsers, etc- But, I can tell you that it can plot a route on a google map, and give you distances to a location or out and back to a location.
I apologize for my lack of testing its use for geocaching, but I cant stand waiting for my dialup to puke.
The site is: http://www.usatf.org/routes/map/
I didnt realize until after that when you create it, it goes into thier database, to be shared with others- In other words, to save it, make it nice, etc.
Dont save your “just playing around maps”. . .

Neat site. I plotted a couple of my regular running routes to see if the distance is what I estimated it to be. Thanks for the link.
