mapsource icons

i hosed my windows and had to reinstall. i put in mapsource 6.14. i used to have smaller icons, and icons that matched my gsak output, multi’s mysteries, and regular caches. i can’t figure out how to get them back.
any help would be appreciated.

When that happened to me, I dumped it and reloaded 6.13.7

I have no need for the large icons and find the older version to work very nicely in comparison.

i went back to 6.13.7
but i can’t the the icons to show as anything other than a square.

Try going to -Edit-Waypoint Properties and see if you can select different Symbols from there.

Also, you might try a complete uninstall, reinstall from an old version and then load the upgrade of the version you prefer.

I had the same problem. I e-mailed tech support asking how to go back to the earlier version and they e-mailed me back wih a link the next day. Unfortunately, I no longer have the e-mail they sent, but I’m sure if you contact them they will help you out.

i think there is a problem with how gsak is exporting the icons. i just found a new version of the macro and will try using that.

redoing the macro and the icons folder worked great. i now have little symbols matching the type of wp.
i also went and bought city navigator, and it works with the macro and icons too.
