Hey, good choice of a weekend! We’ll be there! That happens to be our only free weekend in April!

So far the calendar is open. Hopefully my family and I can make it. I have not done much in this area to date.

Will keep that weekend free. I have really enjoyed caches placed by both team….Can’t wait to see what they dream up for an event.

Thanks for the kind words so far! Will do our best to live up to your hopes. How’s this for a start:

We’ve already planned the location of 30 caches, I’m doing half, “Ecorangers” the other, and we are not even telling each other what we’re doing, too much of a secret to trust any one, even my geocaching wife and kids are not allowed out in the park with me.

Can’t speak for “Ecorangers”, but I’ve already logged 6 hours of finding the hide locations, about 12 hours of figure out the whole “scheme” and how it fits together, 1 trip to Walmart, 2 trips to hardware store, and 1 online order to purchase “props”. I better get back to it, I only have 5 1/2 months to work out the details.

Glad you are securing the date for our (EnergySAver and Ecorangers) event. Kids and I found 15 hiding spots last Sunday morning. Professor (feeling left out) is going to plant a kids cache and some surprise/bonus caches. So you can count on over 30 caches to hunt. Tami

    A quick update …

Sorry to keep you all waiting on the details. We have things well in hand. EcoRangers or is it ecorangers and I have completed our mockup of the event page PLUS it’s own separate linked website.

We can not reserve the building that will be the base of operations for our event until the beginning of January, even though they know we’re coming. Once we can officially book the facility, we will send the event page in for approval.

    A couple questions …

    (1) Do we have a couple people that could bring a couple charcoal grills (I will supply the charcoal and run them)?

    (2) Does anyone know how to drive a hover craft or happen to have a Class 47 helicopter license?

… ok, question #2 was just to throw you!

Can can bring a round Weber grill. I might be able to grab a second one if needed. My calendar is locked in for this date. So hopefully nothing more pressing will come up.

Cool … thanks … if you think of it, note it on your “will attend” entry, once the site is up.
