Hi guys,
The May June LCG bookmark list and map are accessible from the site. Unfortunately, there was a problem with upload function, so the caches are not yet listed on the reporting form. Hopefully Chris and Bryan will get it straightened out soon. This time, the magic date is July 14, 2014, so if you find a cache that had not been found since then, it will be on the list. Since I forgot that April comes before May and was a little late with the list, you might find that you indeed found a lonely cache between May 1 and now and it is not on the list. If so, please let Chris know. The easiest fix for this is to just post a report for another cache with the same points.

05/19/2016 at 10:23 am #2049690Do you have the upload file? I can try and take a look at it today if Bryan isn’t already on it. If you can send me the upload file that would be great then. ([email protected])

05/19/2016 at 4:30 pm #2049696After figuring out how it all works, okay may just how a teeny tiny bit of it works. I was able to at least temporarily get past the errors and get the list uploaded. That is until again in two months and we will see haha.
Anyways Go find those Lonelys and Submit them now for points!!!
Thanks for getting the new list available though!!

05/20/2016 at 6:06 pm #2049727I was just looking at the map and was disappointed that there’s only one Ed’s Lake cache on there. Now that I’m up in Lakewood most weekends, I was looking to score big this month.

06/04/2016 at 7:31 am #2050057http://coord.info/GC2EEDH This challenge should have been on the list. I found it 5/31/16, so does this remove it?
I had several Wascott/Barnes caches that were lonely and they never make the list either. Cannot understand this.
http://coord.info/GC1426H This one wasn’t on the list either and it was almost 2 years since I found it.
I cannot see where I could manually add a cache to the list. Maybe this function should be there too?

06/04/2016 at 9:23 am #2050065I’m not an expert on this but I know they have a script/query in GSAK that they run to create the list. The list Max’s out at about 500 caches per period. As for how they make it on there, I’m not sure but I don’t think the only factor is how old the most recent find is. I believe other factors are in play in their magic query like how frequent has been found with the age of the cache and maybe a few others. So I can understand that with the last cache there not sure about the first one but it was likely going to make it on the list soon.
But I have no idea what the query is so maybe it could be a lil faulty

06/04/2016 at 10:29 pm #2050077This time, the magic date is July 14, 2014, so if you find a cache that had not been found since then, it will be on the list.
GC2EEDH was found last 3/7/15 by cb/cat, and prior to that 8/17/14 by geolivestrong – would not have been on list.
GC1426H last found 7/4/14 and would have been on the list but since the list came out late and your 5/1/16 find was already logged, this one did not make the query.
