ESPN.com is reporting this morning that Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo is going to be out for four weeks after breaking the pinkie finger of his throwing hand.

Actually it should be a new thread and in The Announcements area!
Can you say, ” Give the Ball to Marion Barber?” π
10/13/2008 at 6:21 pm #1896910Romo’s a wuss. Favre played with a broken thumb and did some of his best work.

If Johnny was any kind of Manager, He’d play Romo anyway.

Wow, great news!!!!
I still hate the Cowgirls. The only thing they have on the Pack is better Cheerleaders.
I guess with this turn of events, Elfdoctors are now the team to beat. even with the 2 losses already, and I would have to consider Elfdoctors favorites to win the championship. I too am struggling with injuries on my team….Westbrook is still hurt but I remain hopeful that he will post huge numbers in the second half of the season, so I hope to be in there at the end with you and Elfdoctors.
And as I said before, there is no way we can consider the Nano Haters serious competion, given their managers error in stocking up on Packers. As much as I love the Pack, they are gonna fade as the season goes on, and Matt will too unless he takes my advice and trade Greg Jennings to me ASAP.

10/13/2008 at 10:20 pm #1896913While I don’t think I am the team to beat, I certainly feel more confident about this coming week’s matchup against Johnny Cache. π
I have made very few moves all season and have lost 2 games already. It is still very early in the season. When my players get hurt I will be hurting as I don’t have a lot of depth (and I am not very good about picking up players on waivers). π
10/13/2008 at 10:24 pm #1896914I met Tony when he was still a youngin…he hangs out with one of my in-laws….I’m just sayin. I would LOVE to see him come to Green Bay now that Favre (who is still awesome BTW) is gone….

Would you throw in a few Brownies and Lions too?
10/14/2008 at 4:11 pm #1896918Me thinks Johnny is in big trouble for week 8. The fine Gen Mgr of the Zoinkers just picked up a potentially good QB to plug in for week 8 when Cutler has the bye.
The way I figure it, since the Zoinkers already beat the Elfdoctors, your team is the top one left to beat. (Beating the Nano Scorers is a given.) Brad Johnson will be awful in week 8 and I would have to expect your team to play like a boy named Sue.
Is it too early to put a W in the Zoinker’s column for week 8?

Already looking passed Week 7? I don’t blame you. You’re up against VG. Let’s see. Warner is on a bye and his backup is Hasselbeck who’s already been declared out. His best RB is MJD who’s on bye and his next RB is Addai who’s not 100%. His only other RB is Orange Julius who’s up against TB. And out of his 4 WR’s, he’ll probably sit the 2 that will score. I say we give you the win for Week 7. Week 8 will be another story…
