Not a biggie, but just wondered if it’s possible to change the “member since” date below avatars to reflect joining the WGA as opposed to the date you registered for the forum? or whatever that new date is? Could it be due to changing my name?

I believe this is just the date you last updated your profile. I think the date we re-registered our names. If you click on your profile it shows you as a member since 2003. I’d tell you in person but you’re watching TV and I’m in the office and too tired to walk to the other room. 😆

Bob, this goofiness results from the merge of WGA forum user accounts and WGA membership user accounts done during the website upgrade.
What is shown in the forums as the “Joined” date is the date your forum account was created on the old site. In your case, you registered for the forums years after you created your membership account (I think due to a name change).
Unless I hear major objections, I plan to make a change to show the earlier/older of the two dates (membership or forum registration) as the “Joined” date. In your case Bob, the Joined date would change to Aug 2003.

And rubi…I have the early morning schedule, while the brat sometimes doesn’t get home until the wee hours, so it’s not unusual for her to read my earlier posts, and sometimes even comment on them. But I must admit, we too have communicated via e-mail, even though we’re both in the same house. Go figure.

Count me in on that too please…I changed my name from Linus4Cache (thank goodness I’m done with that dumb name!)
