Candidates,

Please give me three reasons why I would want to be a WGA member.

#1 You get access to a large members forum where you can post about subjects you like, ask for recommendation or get help.

#2 Go to events that bring geocachers from all around Wisconsin. What happens when an event is announced? You call up fellow geocachers and make plans to go. Some of us only get a chance to get together at events to socialize and have some fun. Change it up from just geocaching alone or in your usual group. How many times do you go out to make some finds and come out of the woods with more geocachers than you went in with?

#3 Hurry! Act now! Because you can have all this and much more for just 3 easy installments of $0. But wait there is more! #1 – The WGA forums are so helpful for a variety of reasons.  This is the place where announcements are made about events, calls for help, changes from the Frog, contests, etc.  They’re also a great place to ask for help or find out information about WI regulations for geocaching.

#2 – Participating in WGA events is a lot of fun!  I think the WGA puts on a good party and sometimes the banter beforehands in the forums is just as fun as the event itself.  We have other activities as well, such as photo contests and our travel bug race.

#3 – Being involved with the WGA means that you are involved with a bunch of people living in your state with a similar interest.  This is priceless!  The WGA offers much and all without charging a membership fee.

1. By becoming a member you join a statewide association that encourages you to come together with other cachers in the state and form friendships that span Wisconsin.

2. The price is right. No coupons or groupons needed. The price has never changed since we formed the Association- it has always been $0. The price never changes

Included in the membership fees, the benefits include: For that low, low price you are given the option to post in the WGA forums, play the Lonely Cache Game, Cache Rescue ad vote in the WGA elections to help elect those that wish to offer to volunteer their time to keep advancing geocaching interests in the state.
