This as absolutely nothing to do with geocaching but I think it is totally cool and thought others might enjoy it.
I have yet to personally do this but Mythbusters had a pretty long segment a little while ago experimenting with this. Its pretty awesome 🙂
8) Been there, done that!
here are a couple of quick caveats..
1) take it outdoors
2) Diet sodas only!
have fun 😀
Prostreet and I were playing around with those one day. He also made an adaptor to put on top of the bottle to increase the pressure and make a taller stream.
Later on, we shot off “bottle rockets” where he pressurized a water-filled bottle with an air compressor, then fired them off where they hit around 100′ in the air.
Being the geek that I am, I took some video, added some cheesy music, and posted it to YouTube…

Cool! [Geeks do the craziest stuff],
put some rubber legs on that missile
and you have a new type of Travel Bug.
I bet this would be what heaven looks like to a Yellow Jacket 🙂
Cool video Dave. Love the music. When do you guys have time to cache when building contraptions like that? You should mass market them and make millions. 😯
