just read the same thing on another site… my first thought as well.

I have been wondering what exactly that is. I couldn’t find any info on APE caches.

It was 10 years ago that 20th Century embarked on a publicity stunt to promote their film, Planet of the Apes. Various film props were hidden in caches around the world and code named Project A.P.E.
I wish they would change the APE name to MOVIE caches or HOLLYWOOD caches, that way if the Tomb Raider caches are created we could qualify for them and not stare at 0 APE caches forever. π

GCC67 is the last remaining A.P.E. cache. Check it out if you wish.

It was a very sad day when the IL APE cache went missing .. I went there twice .. the second time I was just the tour guide.
