Sometime in the next 2 weeks we’re going to log find #3000. We’re looking for a memorable milestone cache within about 75 miles of home Waukesha County). We’re not that into puzzles or challenging finds although we’ve done our share of both. For milestones we prefer something scenic or historic. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

06/19/2010 at 6:03 pm #1931422I’m sure the Fox Valley crew would welcome you, especially at “The Old Man/Takes Shelter”, a COTM near Appleton. Still on our top 2 list! 😀
Parfrey’s Glen is nice, but I haven’t been back since the flood of ’08. ❓

Also if you do that, Driftless: Natural Bridge State Park GC1A9G8 is pretty amazing as well.06/22/2010 at 12:08 am #1931426@Braid Beard’s Gang wrote:

I really liked Tunnel of Terror. Doing it at night would be memorable…

I did this today, it was definitely a favorite.
07/02/2010 at 1:21 am #1931428Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Several of these have been added to our must do list for this summer. Our final choice was GC2AP1B by Braid Beard’s Gang. This cache gave us the opportunity for a memorable experience and that was what we were really looking for.
