For those interested in completing the MN State Park Challenge, it appears the Challenge will not end on Dec 31 as planned, and they have extended it to May 15, 2009. This is great news for those of us who had hoped to complete it, but ran out of time.
Also, they are working on a new MN State Park Challenge to start in May.

They have not offically decided that yet…there is talk about going until the next program…currently, it is scheduled to end the 31st…but there may be parks that will keep the caches active until the next series…
As a statewide event…the plan is to stop this Dec 31st…there still may be parks that may want to keep caches active…but, as a statewide thing, this program will end Dec 31st…it isn’t offical yet, but that is the talk from the state level…
As Member at Large for the MnGCA, I can confirm the game ended 2 days ago. There will be a new game starting in May and will last for 3 years.
Let me know if you have any questions or you can visit the MnGCA (http://mngca.org) forums for more on the upcoming game.
Cheers!
Thanks for the info
