So it’s 43 degrees in Wausau today and I’m stuck inside watching kids and getting chores done. What other shut-ins are out there suffering with me?
03/07/2009 at 9:22 pm #1903318Sorry GMO, I went out and found 8 today. Would it help if I told you that I was thinking of you while hunting them?

03/07/2009 at 10:28 pm #1903320Stuck inside sounds better than moving our daughter from Green Bay to Ripon! OH, MY ACHIN’ BACK!! 😯
03/07/2009 at 11:02 pm #1903321GMO, I am in the same boat as you except that I am too exhausted to do anything. I was up last night until 3:30 running off road races at the RC track that I go too because there was nobody there to run them, and to top it off there was over 50 people there and all of them wanted there own thing. so making it even more difficult for me because this was my first time running it. so I get to sit at home today and relax but tomorrow though i am going out in the mud to find at least 10 (hopefully)
03/08/2009 at 2:57 am #1903322Yeah, we were stuck inside with nothing to do all day. No wait… that was just you! 😛
We followed the yellow brick road and did baileyhk’s Oz series. We ended up following about an hour after Bandits. We ran into Rick Blick and teamed up for the final. We even ran into rsplash40 as he was scouting out another hiding spot. What a GREAT and GLORIOUS day it was to be outside today!03/08/2009 at 4:12 am #1903323I, on the other hand, can sympathize. Watched the kids this morning, went to work at 1pm and home again at 9pm. And I get to do it again tomorrow. 🙁

03/08/2009 at 4:27 am #1903324Tool the pup out and checked ona few of my caches. Had to work from 12-8. Off Sunday. Gonna try to get out and do some scouting for cache placement for the Weenie Roast in April. COme back home, turn the race on and take a nap.
03/08/2009 at 4:42 am #1903325Didn’t do any caching but when on a bike ride before we get nailed again by snow and they lay a little bit more sand down.
03/08/2009 at 5:23 am #1903326We did some caching in the Appleton area, and then did a few in Oshkosh on the way back home. Found a grand total of 10 for the day, and I’m hoping we go out on Sunday for some more depending on the weather.
03/08/2009 at 2:52 pm #1903327Stuck in yesterday because of the rain, and again today. The only good about it is that I’m sick anyway. I still found the energy to get the gauges changed in my truck yesterday though.

Yes we heard from TBC that you were “planting” a cache. I went there to check it out but there were 4 other vehicles parked on the road ahead of me and I didn’t want to wait around for 5th to find on an unpublished cache. 😆 😉
03/08/2009 at 6:33 pm #1903329Yeah, I swear baileyhk, vans clan, RBC and GMO all passed me as I was heading towards town… should be lots of foot prints to a empty location now.
There might’ve actually been a container there if I had remembered the log book…
I suppose I’ll go back there and there will be a container in every nook and cranny within 50 feet of where my tracks end…
03/08/2009 at 6:49 pm #1903330Yep. We went back with the film canister cannon and set it on semi-auto and peppered the entire area. Not being satisified with that, we loaded the Black-Catapult with a bunch of tupperware and let fly. I think one of the containers might have had a log in it. Your coords should be close enough, Mike. Just list the container size as unknown.
03/09/2009 at 4:16 pm #1903331I think some of you guys (BLACKCAT!) missed the point of this thread! You weren’t supposed to rub it in! I did manage to get out for one cache later in the day with the family, so that was nice.
